In 2020, life as we knew it came to a screeching halt. The pandemic turned everything upside down—businesses shut their doors, people were confined to their homes, and uncertainty was everywhere. Like so many, I found myself wondering what the future would hold.

It wasn’t just businesses that paused; critical services were disrupted too. Lenders and title companies closed their offices, leaving families unable to complete their home closings, and with interest rates at an all-time low, the demand for mobile notaries skyrocketed. People needed help, and they needed it fast.

I saw a problem, and I knew I could be part of the solution. That’s when I decided to start Signature Move Notary Services. It wasn’t a grand plan; it was simply me stepping out on faith. I wanted to help people during one of the hardest times in our lives, and I believed I could create something meaningful.

I’ll be honest—starting a business in the middle of a global pandemic wasn’t easy. There were moments of doubt, sleepless nights, and a steep learning curve. But every time I met a client who was stressed about a deadline or anxious about their future, I knew I was exactly where I was supposed to be. My mission became clear: to make people’s lives just a little easier, one notarization at a time.

Fast forward four years, and here I am. What started as a one-woman operation has grown into a thriving mobile notary business. I’ve traveled across the state to meet people where they are—in their homes, hospitals, care facilities, and even jails. I’ve worked with families adopting, closing on their dream homes, individuals securing vital documents, and professionals navigating complex transactions.

Every appointment reminds me of why I started this journey: to show up for people when they need it most. Life doesn’t always go as planned, but I’ve built my business on being the person who says, “I’ve got you. We’ll figure this out together.” I’m proud of the work I do and grateful for the trust my clients place in me. 

As proud as I am of how far I’ve come, I’m even more excited about where my business is going. I believe in growth, not just for myself, but for the people I serve. Here’s a glimpse into what’s next for Signature Move Notary Services:

• Expanding Services: I’m planning to add new offerings, such as remote online notarizations (RON) and specialized document preparation assistance, to provide even more convenience for my clients.
• Building a Team: My vision is to grow beyond a one-woman operation by training and mentoring other notaries to join the Signature Move family. Together, we’ll expand our reach and serve more communities across the state.
• Giving Back: As my business grows, so does my commitment to the community. I’m passionate about offering free or reduced-cost services to those in need, ensuring that important transactions are accessible to everyone.
